As part of the Europlanet NA1 programme and the international campaign of observations supporting the Rosetta mission, there will be a two day workshop hosted at Schloss Seggau, near Graz, in Austria. The meeting will take place between the 20th and 22nd of June 2016 and will take place entirely within the castle/hotel at Seggau, which has accommodation, modern meeting rooms, and a well stocked wine cellar. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together observers who have been studying comet 67P during the Rosetta mission to exchange results and discuss the link between ground-based observations and results from Rosetta’s instruments.
Sponsorship by the Europlanet research infrastructure means that funding is available to cover travel and conference fee (including accommodation and meals) for approximately 30 participants, to be allocated based on need if there are more requests.
Presentations of the Workshop are now available online.
The deadline to register (including hotel booking) is March 1st, 2016.
The draft agenda is now available.
Further details are given in the first announcement document.
This workshop is supported by Europlanet 2020 RI Work Package NA1 - Innovation through Science Networking, Task 5. The EU-project Europlanet 2020 RI has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 654208.
